Centennial Lending Awards Three Scholarships Totaling $2,250

In July 2010 Centennial Lending awarded three scholarships to these exceptional students:

  • Signe Burke will be a Freshman at Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington where she will study Liberal Arts
  • Mary Grace Miller is a Junior at Metropolitan State College in Denver, CO continuing her Organizational Communication studies
  • Meredith Logan will be completing her B.S. in Business Management from the University of Phoenix in 2011
  • Candidates were graded on their classroom performance, financial need, community involvement and an essay titled “New legislation and regulatory guidelines have forced the credit union industry to alter their strategic positioning. What must credit unions do to stay competitive in 2010 and beyond?”
